Double pantograph wheel set
Designed to withstand the torsion from contour curves and undulating ground topography, validated through experimental testing to ensure greater reliability and performance. It was developed to maximize ground following, ensuring correct planting even on irregular terrain.
The SNIPER features an exclusive ratchet system that neutralizes the tire RPM difference in curves. It eases reversing and provides full forward traction.
Each double wheel set, exclusive to Jan, has a ratchet that only drives forward, with free rotation in reverse. The non-uniform parallelogram joint design keeps the tires that lift off the machine always at the same support point. This provides maximum machine transport height in a small space.
Equipped with rotomolded tanks, with the seed tank suspended, increasing the machine's planting autonomy. Large capacity and innovative design.
Gear-driven, easy to handle and with quick dosage adjustment.
Lift system actuated by hydraulic cylinders, preventing a sudden drop of the equipment in case of system failure.
The planter is equipped with TOPlanting fertilizer meters, with 1"1/4 double augers rotating in opposite directions, reducing pulsation regardless of machine inclination, always distributing the same amount of fertilizer, feeding all plants equally.
The SNIPER mechanical distribution version features the exclusive TOPlanting X3 distributor, a solution for the farmer to improve seed distribution along the furrow, achieving more uniform planting. The TOP X3 concept was developed to avoid skips and doubles. Planting at the proper speed ensures constant spacing between seeds along the furrow, and uniform seed deposition prevents competition between plants, allowing even crop emergence. A high-technology product, easy to maintain and requiring no adjustments.
Standard 20-inch cutting disc diameter, with a helical spring that allows the disc to follow the terrain undulations. Its mechanism offers greater straw-cutting effectiveness, preventing clogging.
Fertilizer row with a knife independent of the cutting disc, with built-in automatic release. The release occurs whenever an obstacle exceeds the spring's cumulative load, returning the mechanism to its original position, without stopping and without needing to lift the machine.
The disc fertilizer row has a double-disc furrow opener, set up with offset discs (one 15.5" and another 16").
Exclusive seeding depth-limiter system, located in front of the seed furrow openers, to close the furrow left by the breaking elements ahead, preventing the loss of any seed that falls into the furrow gap. It also ensures no loss of seed germination from contact with the fertilizer.
Press wheels with an exclusive articulation and independent-pressure system, making the seed compaction pressure homogeneous on both sides of the furrow. Adjustments to the pressure and angle of the press wheels. Closer proximity of the press wheels to the furrow discs, providing full compaction efficiency, both when planting on curves and on slopes.
The SNIPER has a practical and quick adjustment system for the row spring pressure, depth limiters and metering system, without the need for tools.
The SNIPER was developed aiming for low periodic maintenance and low machine downtime during the season. For this, grease points were removed from all joints and replaced with self-lubricating bushings. In hubs that had simple bearings, sealed bearings were used, increasing component service life and reducing downtime for lubrication.
The SNIPER is built with a military/agricultural tire model 7.00-16 12-ply, ensuring the traction needed to drive the transmission.
